My mother wanting to contribute to my safety bought me a fighter helmet. It is simply too cool. I don't know if I am more excited about the RV8 or being able to fly it with this helmet on. Thanks Mom.
On the 25th I cut off the overhanging fiberglass, sanded and filled some of the voids in the windscreen fiberglass with SuperFil. On the 26th it was Christine's birthday. Late after our celebration I sanded and then applied a thin layer for epoxy resin. I did this to fill some voids on the edges next to the electrical tape that had been sanded to the thickness of the tape. I realize this is out of order - applying epoxy over filler. This couldn't be helped since the filler didn't seem to be sticking in the voids in the really thin section next to the tape.
