More sanding. I applied another thin layer of epoxy to the windscreen fiberglass.

After sanding the inside of the skirt I applied primer, let this dry and then applied one coat of PPG gray paint to match the interior. After this dried (mostly) I applied SikaFlex cleaner and primer over a 3/4 band I hadn't painted and to the part of the canopy bubble that goes behind it. I applied a bead of SikaFlex to the skirt and Monica helped me get it into position. I cleco'ed it then installed CS4-4 pull rivets. I know rivets and SikaFlex seems like overkill but I needed the rivets to pull in the sides about 2/3 of the way back.

I haven't been happy with the rudder pedal position so I moved it back. I am 6 feet tall and the second to most back position seems perfect. The most extreme forward position must be for basketball players.

I haven't been doing a good job keeping this log up to date lately. I have a case of finish-it-up-itus which is causing me want to spend all of my free time building. I would like to be ready to take the plane to the airport on March 1.
