I jumped around quite a bit tonight. First I cut and sanded the empennage fairing. The fit seems almost perfect. The angels must be feeling sorry for me for what they put me through on the canopy and skirt. I still need to sand the parts that line up with the backs of the HS and VS.

I tightened the nut on the tail wheel and installed the cotter pit. There is a grease fitting on the wheel and I can't tell if the wheel came from the factory pre-greased. I need to use a grease gun on it just in case.

I drilled the holes in the main landing gear shafts for the cotter pins. On these I tightened the nuts to where the began to bind the wheels and then backed off just enough to where they turned freely again. The holes are really close to the wheels but the 12" long #30 bit did the trick. On the right wheel I moved the bleed valve to the bottom and installed an AN elbow on the top.

I flared and attached tubing to the AN fitting next to the landing gera leg. This was really difficult to tighten since I could barely get a wrench on it. There is no way to torque it. I also added a short length of 1/4" ID rubber tubing to the area where the brake line might rub against the landing gear brace.

I ran the tubing down the back of the landing gear leg and taped it as I went down. I put a loop in it and then attached it to the brake assembly. It is late - I will do the other one tomorrow.
