I started on the center canopy rail. I deburred the C-804 and C-805 rail cap and spacer and marked centerlines and 1/8" drill locations. I drilled these in the cap and then match drilled them into the spacer. I decided not to cut the cap until after fitting it to the rail to make the cut as accurate as possible. In the picture below you can see there is some overhang.
