I cut, primed and painted the canopy rails. One minor gotcha is drawing 44 shows the left C-803 rail but claims it is the right one. This threw me for a loop for a short while.
I positioned the bubble and cut from the front and back in approximately 1/8-3/16 inch increments until it sat correctly in the frame. One thing about the Todd canopy is that there is no margin for error on the bottom edge in the area where the pilot sits. I cut nothing from this area and as you can see in the photo at the bottom left, it barely fits. This might be because I should have cut more from the front and less from the back.
