I made The Cut between the windshield and canopy bubble. I followed the advice in the manual by putting in a piece of cardboard between the two roll bars to act as a guide. There was no hint of cracking. The "shop" temperature was 65 deg F but I had two large spot lamps over the bubble acting as French fry warmers.
