I hooked up hoses and fittings. I had to remove the right magneto to get a fitting in place for the oil pressure line. There was no way around having to do this. I will have to set the timing on this one before I run it the first time. I drilled a hole for on EGT probe. I had to mount it 2-1/8" from the flange since there is a coupler at 2-1/4" on one of the other exhaust pipes. The EGT probes have to be the same distance away from the exhaust port flanges and should be 2-4" (some folks even say 8" away). 2-1/8" was an easy decision since there is no other choice. I made the backing angle and painted it and the pressure transducer manifold. I installed both along with the oil and fuel pressure transducers. I installed the necessary hoses and plugs. Before doing this I pressured each with compressed air and noted that they were wired correctly and showed believable pressure readings. |
