I made three trips to the auto parts store before I had the right alternator belt. A Gates 7355 fits just right. It doesn't look like it but I cleaned up a lot of the wiring in the area of the battery. I hooked up the right magneto's P-lead and shield ground/ I cut holes in the firewall for the throttle and mixture cables. I hooked up the cables to the fuel injection servo. I cut a hole in the front of the left landing gear box and passed the cables through it and through the hole already in the back of the left landing gear box. This hole is too small. I also found out I don't have all of the hardware I need to hook the cables to the throttle and mixture arm. There must be a kit I should have ordered. I'll call Van's tomorrow. |
