Very busy day. I finished installing the "eyeball" firewall seals for the throttle and mixture cables. This required drilling 1" diameter holes in the firewall and then drilling holes in the "eyeballs" to the diameter of the cable. I sealed them with red RTV. I installed and clamped down the crankcase breather tube. I installed the alternate air cable and a shield for it at the firewall. The alternate air and cabin heat knobs look the same so the convention I used was to keep the alternate air knob with the throttle and mixture. I sealed up and installed a shield for the wiring that goes through the firewall. I installed the MAP sensor and its bulkhead fitting. |
