I had a very nice Easter celebration today

After having trimmed the spinner away at the prop, I marked the locations for the screws by tracing an outline of the bottom of the spinner on a piece of paper. I marked 6 equidistant locations for the front plate screws and then 7 on each side for the back plate screws. I re-attached the spinner to the back plate using clamps. Then I put a piece of wood with a nail really close to the tip and checked for out of round. I made minor adjustments.

I then stopped, checked the plans again, checked for out of round again, took a deep breath and then drilled the holes. Everything seems to have turned out very well. Check out the fit between the spinner and prop in the second and third pictures. Hmmh. Nice.

I trimmed away the excess fiberglass on the air box. It isn't exactly a thing of beauty with the fiberglassed over cut but it is nice and strong.

The below picture is evidence to the FAA that I worked on the air filter assembly.
