At lunch I came home and recruited Christine to start sewing on the test cushion. I forgot to take a picture but she attached the sides to the bottom part. We also figured out how we are going to install zippers. We have done enough with this test to conclude we (Christine, actually) have the skill to upholster the cushions. About $600 saved... ca-ching!

I did two things tonight. I primed the fiberglass top part of the passenger seat back and I began the wiring of the EMS. On the EMS I only have power and ground hooked up so far. One very confusing item is that there are several black ground wires. These are used to ground sensors to the EMS rather than locally and thus creating ground loops. In any event, I had to check continuity to make sure I was hooking up the right one to ground. Another confusing item is that there are two pairs of three wires colored red, black and yellow. One set is for the fuel flow sender and the other for the EMS. I fell for this one and cut and installed terminals on the wrong set. I had to splice these back.
