I finished countersinking the spar where the hinge goes and then I dimpled the skin where the skin spar and hnige come together. I drilled the back row of holes between the top and bottom skins and cleoced them together.
I spent 45 minutes convincing myself that it was OK to cut a 6 inch piece of 3/4 x 3/4 angle from one of the 12 foot lengths provided. There was a note in the kit from Van's that said don't cut the 15' longerons and to think before using a hacksaw. OK. I thought but I don't know if it did any good.
Caroline helped me carry some parts back and forth from the other end of the garage. She took the picture of me. Notice that it was taken from about 3 1/2 feet high.
