First thing this morning I ordered a replacement WD-822.

This evening I started drilling the left WD-822. This time I clamped the *&#@ out of it. I drilled the holes called out in the instructions, removed, deburred and reinstalled. I used two small bolts and nuts to hold the weldment tight against the bottom part of the bottom longeron. I drilled the rest of the weldment holes using lots of Boelube.

I clecoed the back bulkhead to the F-802C web and clecod this to the front F-802A bulkhead. I marked the holes locations through the skin onto the rear bulkhead to verify the fluting locations on the plans. Then fluted, drilled and clecoed the back bulkhead.

Then I drilled a few holes in the back of WD-822 through the pre-punched holes in the back bulkhead.
