The replacement WD-822 came in yesterday but I didn't check my mailbox until today. This time I clamped the ^$#%@ out of it like I did on the left side and this time the holes turned out a lot better. The weldment is still about 1/16" aft of where it should be but I will go with it the way it is.
I put the left landing gear box back into the fuselage, clecoed the skin back on and drilled the 7/16" vent line.
