Tonight I drilled the attach point for the back of the control rod to the floor. I am happy and relieved that I didn't botch this since I couldn't think of a way to clamp it before drilling. The control rod swings freely.
I drilled through the flap motor weldments to final size and then bolted the flap motor to the actuator rod and the other end to a bracket. I did this to make sure the side panel shown bottom right would fit properly. The side panel is in position and ready to be drilled.
