I came home during lunchtime and installed nut plates on the F-802 cross members. I also deburred and dimpled the covers that go over this area. Tonight I ProSealed the remaining areas around the F-851 skins and the F-867 cooling ramp. I was able to seal up the areas all around the ramp. With the ramp in place and the right (left when viewed upside down) F-851 kind of loose, I fed the hinge pin for the ramp in all the way. Then cleco'ed down the two F-851s and the front part of the ramp squeezing out ProSeal all over the place. I took almost an hour to clean up the mess. Christine and I riveted the sides of the F-851s to the sides of the fuselage. We then riveted down the front part of the cooling air ramp. I had to drill out the AN426AD4-6 on the edge of the ramp and replace it with a -7. I then bent the ends of the F-861 landing gear covers and screwed them into place. |
