Today I went to Home Depot and bought some 3M non-skid strips. These were originally intended for stairs but they worked perfectly for the rudder pedals. I roughed up the area on the pedals with a SctchBrite pad and then wiped it clean with acetone. The I painted on contact cement and let it dry. Then I applied the non-skid strips. I don't think the strips will be going anywhere but only time will tell. I didn't get a picture.
