A very kind tech counselor from EAA chapter 302 agreed to come over on Friday to go over what I have done so far. I spent a lot of time tonight cleaning up the shop.
I then started on the front seat back. I cut the two side angles and drilled them into position. I first lined up the bottoms and drilled a hole on each side. Then I compressed the seat back about 1/4" to get it to be the correct length and then installed clecos. Then I clamped and match drilled a hole on each side on the top and again installed clecos. Then I drilled and clecoed the rest of the holes.
I couldn't go any further because I ran out of angle stock for doing the one that runs along the bottom (8/13/2006 .shows where the angle stock went). I ordered more from Vans this morning.
I also found out that the finishing kit is supposed to be here next Wednesday (8/23/2006).
