One of the discrepancies Dennis noted when he was here was a gap at the bottom flange of bulkhead F-811. He noted that this area is probably under higher than usual stress due to the tail spring so he recommended that I add a spacer. When I drilled out the rivet it popped loose and lo and behold there was a spacer already there. It was too small to see behind the flange but it was probably too thin to be doing much good. This time I used much thicker material, bent it to match the contour of the skin, primed it and painted it black. This time it is plainly visible and is more effective.

I installed nut plates for the two elevator control horn inspection covers. I riveted down the rudder stops and patched a hole I had drilled in the rudder fiberglass.
