I fabricated the spacer that goes between the skin and the hinge support and I cut some hinge material to the specified 13 1/2". I clamped these to the skin and marked cutouts in the strip material. I then cut the notches, cleaned them with sand paper and then drilled the hinge, space and support.

I botched the door ribs. I didn't notice at the time but there is an outside and inside of the outer skin (i.e., it is not symmetrical). I drilled the ribs to the outside. I ordered two new ones from Vans at $13 each.

I pop riveted in the F-804Ns. I also made two quick and dirty saw horses out of scrap for painting the wings.
