Material for the second pin made it in. I fabricated the pin, primed and painted it and installed it. I then riveted the inner skin to the door. This took 2 attempts.

On the first one I strapped the door into the fuselage and used tape to pull the firewall flush with the door. I crawled into the front part of the fuselage and pop riveted the skin starting with the top and alternating side to side until I reached as far as I could on the bottom. The I removed the door and riveted the top and bottom sides. I re-installed the door and found it to be severely warped. The back edge stood up about 1/4" above the fuselage skin.

I then learned my first lesson of the night: CS4-4 pop rivets are really easy to drill out. They come out about as fast as you can move the drill from hole to hole.

I drilled out the rivets and devised a plan. I need to lock down the areas I can't get to before strapping the door flush with the fuselage. This time I riveted the top and bottom sides - completely - and then strapped the door and riveted the rest from the inside. Much better this time. There is a slight bow on both sides (about 3/32") but I think this will close up when latched,
