I was able to put in a lot of time on the tank today.

I cut notches in the vent line bushings for the fuel sender wire and then installed them. I installed the outer sender plate onto which I had already attached a wire. I then cut the vent line to size, deburred it and flared it and then installed it through the bushings carefully getting the wire into the bushing grooves.

I measured the wire that goes between the BNC connector and inner sender plate. I crimped on a connector and then soldered it. This isn't easy because it is tough to get enough slack in the wire. The BNC connector comes out through the outside of the inner rib so I had to move the rib next to the one with the plate to get the slack.

I ProSealed the outer ribs into place and then riveted them with the squeezer. Then I connected the vent line.

I ProSealed the sender wires to the vent line. Then I ProSealed and riveted the T-410 leading edge stiffeners and T-405 leading edge angle. I did it this way since it is next to impossible (which I found out the hard way on the previous tank) to get the rib flange rivets doing it the other way. The downside is that it is a lot hard to set these rivets since you need to reach down deep in the tank covers with nasty and sticky ProSeal.

Then I put down a bead of ProSeal just under the baffle holes in the skin. I put ProSeal on the rib flanges. I inspected everything and then put down the baffle and put a cleco in every hole (with z brackets in place. Then I took every other one out and squeezed rivets into them. Then I took out the rest an squeezed the rest of the rivets. Then I blind riveted the ribs and z-brackets to the baffle.

Whew. Busy day. When I finished I noticed I had forgotten to plug the tooling hole in the outer rib. I'll get it tomorrow.
