I finished pulling through the conduit. What a pain. The outer rings are
greater in diameter than the holes so it takes a lot of twisting and
pulling to get it through the holes. I then bolted the bellcrank to the
spar and the pushrods to the bellcrank. I riveted the aileron hinges together and then to the rear spar and outside rib. A weird thing happened. When I riveted the outer hinge the head of one of the rivets broke off. I was able to drill it out without causing damage. I must have been hitting it too hard or at an angle. |
