I masked the wing and painted the black trim and "swoosh" with an air brush. The back edge of the black didn't turn out very crisp. There was some capillary-like seeping under the masking tape. The tape I used was something I bought at the auto parts store. I think I will stick with the one Spruce sells or the electrical-like tape the PPG store sells.
