Busy day today. I went to Home Depot and bought the wood and I then built the cradle for holding the leading edges and tanks. I took Van's advice and didn't spend too much time trying to make it into a thing of unnatural beauty. I also cut the wood for the wing cradle but decided to wait before assembling it. It looks like it will take up a lot of space which I don't have at the moment. I clecoed the ribs to the right leading edge skin and then clecoed the whole thing to the right wing.

What was amazing was the the rib flange holes in the leading edge assembly perfectly lined up with the holes in the spar.

The holes are very close to the back ribs as you can see above. The clecos barely fit. Drilling these hole ought to be fun. Maybe now is the time to buy an angle drill.

Christine came out in the garage after I had put on the leading edge and said, "now it looks like you're really building an airplane." I agree - it looks really cool.
