On the night of the 27th after I updated the web site, lighting hit the chimney of our house. There was no damage to the house itself (I don't think) but everything hooked up to the cable TV cable, the phone line and Ethernet became toast. It wasn't any loader than any of the other thunder in the area except that there was a very pronounce click. A neighbor was looking in this direction when it happened and called us about 1 minute later. She said when it hit the chimney there was a shower of sparks. Anyway, I have replaced just about everything that was damaged, including everything I need to keep this web site going.

Determining what was damaged and replacing it has taken a couple of days. There hasn't been any progress on the RV until tonight. I primed the skin and ribs. I used my HobbyAir full mask respirator for the first time. It works great. My only complaint is that the turbine unit gets hot and the hot air is sent to the mask. Maybe I need to move it to a cooler location.
