My friend Don was kind enough to stop by tonight to help set the rib to spar rivets. It took as a long time - about 5-10 minutes per rivet to get them in. Besides the inability to see where to place the bucking bar and the rivets being too close to the rib web, for some reason an inordinate amount of hitting of the rivet seems to be required to set them. I decided to switch to blind rivets on the second to last rib.
Recommendation to those who haven';t done this yet: use the blind rivets here. Vans allows it but check with them first to be sure.
Oh. And today I ordered the fuselage kit.
